Special announcement – Gloster subsidiary wins public procurement contract worth HUF 5,100,000,000

The winning bidder for the 5,100,000,000 forint public procurement contract is a subsidiary of Gloster

Gloster Infokommunikációs Nyilvánosan Működő Részvénytársaság (company registration number: 13-10-042012; registered office: 2142 Nagytarcsa, Csonka János utca 1/A A/2.; hereinafter: Company, Gloster) hereby informs its esteemed investors of the following in accordance with the relevant legislation and the General Business Rules of the Budapest Stock Exchange.

The Digital Government Agency Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “DKÜ” or “Contracting Authority”) for the “Procurement of Mobile Phones (MTEL23),” Gloster Networks Kft., a wholly owned subsidiary of Gloster (headquarters: 2142 Nagytarcsa, 1/A Csonka János Street, Building A/2; company registration number: 13-09-202159; tax number: 13287041-2-13), submitted a winning bid as a member of a consortium.

The DKÜ launched the public procurement procedure for the conclusion of a framework agreement regarding the National Council for Communications and Information Technology, as well as Government Decree No. 301/2018 (XII.27.) (hereinafter: DKÜ Decree) for organizations falling under its scope, regarding the procurement of mobile phones (MTEL23).

The total net amount of the framework agreement is 5,100,000,000 Ft, and its term is up to 24 months from the date it takes effect.

The framework agreement does not guarantee automatic orders; based on the needs of the participating organizations, each specific procurement will be put out to competitive bidding again among the consortia participating in the framework agreement.

Pursuant to Sections 131(5)–(8) of Act CXLIII of 2015 on Public Procurement, a 10-day moratorium period begins on the date of publication of the results of the procedure on March 6, 2024,, during which an appeal may be filed regarding the procedure and its outcome.
