Using the system’s previous architecture and the SPLA licensing solution, SekaSoft developed a monthly subscription licensing model in addition to the perpetual licensing model; however, this operational model did not offer customers the same flexibility as a SaaS solution. The system’s operation was still not centralized, and the involvement of local system administrators remained necessary. For remote work and remote access, the system required a VPN connection, which is much more sensitive to internet bandwidth than the currently used Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop.

Previously, SekaSoft had to contend with challenges caused by software developed and deployed on its local infrastructure, including frequent compatibility and networking issues.
