How much does it cost to develop custom software?
The cost is determined by the system’s complexity, integrations, security requirements, migration, and the method of collaboration. After the initial technical consultation, we can determine what kind of assessment is needed. By the end of the assessment, you’ll receive a cost range, timeline, project scope, and risk analysis that will help you make an informed decision—all before committing to the full development process.
How quickly can the collaboration get started?
We can typically organize the first professional consultation within a short time frame. How quickly we can get started depends on the required expertise, access, and the scope of the assessment. Even in the initial phase, we aim for concrete decision-making outcomes, not months of preparation.
We have our own development team. Can you work with them?
Yes. We can provide support at the architecture and technical leadership levels, take over a standalone module, provide specialized cloud, DevOps, or development expertise, or work as part of a joint team. Right from the start, we establish who is responsible for what, how we manage the code, and how we transfer knowledge.
Can you take over a project that's been left unfinished or inherited from another vendor?
Yes. As a first step, we assess the technology and the project’s operations: we examine the codebase, the architecture, the documentation, the dependencies, and the deployment process. We then provide a fact-based plan for stabilization, handover, and further development.
Who will own the source code and the intellectual property?
The terms and conditions for the transfer of project-specific source code, documentation, and usage rights are clearly specified in the contract. Licenses for third-party and open-source components are handled separately. The goal is to ensure that the system can be transferred in a manner that is transparent from both a legal and technological standpoint.
What technologies do you use?
We do not force a technology onto a problem from a pre-selected stack. We make the decision based on business requirements, the existing environment, team expertise, scalability, security, and total cost of ownership, with a documented rationale.
How do you use AI in development?
To accelerate coding, testing, documentation, and analysis workflows in a controlled environment. AI-generated results are not automatically deployed to the production system: they require review, testing, and validation by senior engineers.
Do you also handle operations and further development?
Yes. We prepare the system for monitoring, automated deployments, incident management, and SLA-based support right from the architecture design phase. Operations and further development can be managed under the same system-level responsibility.
